Ray's Food Place - Canyonville

A little old school in a great way. As in a market in the 50s, but with modern products. The Deli was great and the food prices were a bit high. About what you would expect from a small town of food. Most of the other Ray's in Oregon are quite modern so that they stand out a bit.

I frequently find myself in Canyonville, often staying at 7 Feathers Casino, and I always make a point to stop by Ray's Food Place. They offer an impressive variety of items, far beyond just groceries. When I'm looking for a change from dining at the casino, their selection of fresh, delicious products is perfect. The store itself is very appealing—bright, well-stocked, and located in the lovely Canyonville Commons shopping center, which has ample parking. Honestly, for a small town, Canyonville is fortunate to have such an outstanding supermarket. I go out of my way to shop there because I believe in supporting local businesses.

The staff at this deli are friendly and welcoming. The produce section is fresh and attractive, and there’s a great variety of cold beverages available. However, the prices are comparable to those at a convenience store, which is a bit on the high side.

I recently ordered from Ray's through the Mercato app, and I couldn't be happier! Lynn, the branch manager, handled my order, and she was fantastic. It felt like she picked the items out personally. I was initially skeptical about using an app where someone else selects my products, but Lynn completely put my worries to rest! If you're unable to shop in-store at Ray's for any reason, I highly recommend using their online shopping service to meet your needs!
