Bidra med feedbackThere are many fried clams/seafood locations in Cap-Pele but my wife, daughter and I went there for lunch today as we heard they had great fried clams. We each ordered a ⅓ order of clams at $ 13 a plate and a side order or fries. The service was friendly and very fast for a beach house on a sunny Sunday in July - the wait after we ordered was only 5 minutes. The ½ orders of fried clams gave a very good portion. The food was hot and the clams were tasty but a bit large ( almost a bar clam ) and a bit undercooked. The fries were hot but not home made. So based on our experience, we found the clams to be average - very good . Clams are never cheap and hence our half orders and one french fries came to $ 50.00
The fried seafood at this restaurant is average, similar to other restaurants in the Cap Pelé area. However, the location is excellent, right on the oceanfront. You have the option to dine indoors or outdoors. If I were to come back, it would only be for the beautiful location.
This restaurant is a hidden gem for seafood lovers. You get a great value for your money here, with generous portions and non-greasy dishes. Despite being busy, the service is fast and efficient. Plus, you can enjoy a beach view from the upstairs dining area.
We had the grilled cheese, club sandwich, and popcorn chicken. Everything was just Ok. Grilled cheese used processed cheese, but the club had real chicken at least (vs processed meat). Great if you like basic fried food. They do have a nice and varied menu.
Great location, great service for a fast fried food meal after a day at the beach but the food is tasteless and everything is fried in the same oil, batter and not fully finished frying. There are better places in the area
