Mariposa - Capaccio

We had very tasty pizza in the beautiful big yard. There was also more than enough parking space. We liked it.

The place offers grilled meats and pizza plus a fantastic selection of beers from Italy and Europe. Guests seat in a large and pleasant garden and on some evenings, there is a live show. Prices are very reasonable and the food delicious. The only downside...is service is a little bit erratic but the waiters are trying very hard to make things work.

One of the best places around. Very authentic, very nice place, if you really want to meet the locals, the local cuisine, the local flavors. Also the kids had where to play, until their pizza was prepared. The steak was melting in your mouth. The...beer delicious. Nothing fancy. If you would like to experience a homelike comfort, but combined with Italian tastes feeling, this is the perfect place to go. And all these, for very good price. In the weekends they have also live music, so you can even dance if you feel the boogie in your legs.

Stumbled across Mariposa while exploring this region. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed with a lovely large balcony overlooking the gardens. We overindulged every night in their exquisite restaurant. The pizza was the best we had eaten in all our travels in Italy!...We were later told that the owners son is the pizza chef! Faultless and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

The last review was from but as everything was positive we went there...... From the first minute you feel uncomfortable ,two guys serving,really uninterested, not in any way knowing what they are doing. It takes far too long asking for drinks,and it wasn't busy...at all,what is easy too understand if you behave like this,bring wine and water without the right glasses...... Throw your food on the table,take your plates without asking...... Really a bad experience,not even worth too mention the food.........
