Escapade Gourmande - Capbreton

Excellent service friendly waiter who was great even though he was all alone in serving , a full restaurant very efficient as stated a set menu which was excellent well prepared and presented would like to try the restaurant again on a normal day , but would presume the same in service and menu next time in Capbreton will defiantly visit the restaurant

Was out at the nearby Orx Marshes, worth a visit if you like wildlife, and popped into Capbreton for a nice lesurely lunch. Looked at a number of empty restaurants and stumbled 9n this one with lots of locals sitting in it. Specials board looked appetising and in we went. Service was excellent in a jovial fun way. I had fishcakes to start and streak to follow. My wife had mussel frites as did my brother in law, and my sulister in law had the sardines, everybody agreed the food was gorgeous. Dessert was ice cream for me, and tiramisu for the rest. Again went down rather well. 2 bottles of rose, a round of beers and coffee, job done. Very reasonable and downright tasty. A pleasant surprise I must say.

Very nice discovery, the dishes and the service were very good. Small flat and artificial flowers in decoration and not very online with the quality of the dishes. Go.

So... what's the start? The false kindness of the server that forces itself to display a narquois smile, the wait I-N-T-E-R-M-I-N-A-B-L-E between the dishes that leave you an already bitter taste, duck jams that have the mouth of a battery chicken or the plasticoc found in the home fries?Even not an excuse for the occasioned discomfort. Anyway... running away!

Pleasant time, good food, but service a little long, fortunately the server was jovial.
