Hemelhuijs - Cape Town

I'm not sure where to begin on how scintillating and mouth watering their food is. Especially the eggs Benedict. I have been having it since they have opened the restaurant. I have never eaten anything else, no matter what time of the day (I have sampled dishes from others). The service is ridiculously good every single time and the owner and staff always remember me and my standard Eggs Benedict order order!

The best homely lunch place by far. The trout dish is divine!

Amazing food with solid service. Interior second to none. I've been here a few times and it is now a very firm favourite. Highly recommend the veal lamb dishes.

Great food here. I'm writing this review about 8 months after I visited but I still remember being pleasantly surprised but the food. The food tried to remain as South African a possible and I really appreciated that. The next time I'm in Cape Town, I'd more than likely try to go back for another meal.
