Bidra med feedbackThe best freshly caught fish in Cape Town! The food is wholesome and unpretentious. The aubergine fries were absolutely delicious, and the tarama was the best I've ever tasted. I can't wait to go back!
One of my favorite spots in Bree is this restaurant. They have a fantastic outdoor area under a marquee with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is lovely, enhanced by a wood-fired oven that adds a warm glow while cooking all their dishes and pizzas. I once tried a burger there—it was good, but not particularly unforgettable. The prices are a bit high, which is typical for Bree Street.
What a vibe on a Friday night. Chilly evening, beautiful red wine, open fire cooking whole fish and meaty souvla, and a serious vibe. The food is delicious with a homely Greek flare. Try the fire roasted olives, they will keep you coming back for more.
I really enjoyed the lamb bowl with grains instead of pita; it was fresh and flavorful, and the lamb had a nice subtle spice to it. The chopped salad was delightful with its incredible crunchy textures, and the light crème fraîche dressing brought everything together perfectly.
I think its a hidden gem in CBD. Amazing food. Had the burger and some salads. Honestly mouth watering and moreish. Lovely vibe. Good music. Happy. Ill be back a few times
