Gayle's Bakery Rosticceria - Capitola

Great fast service. I'd probably go back for the princess cake. The croissant and bear claw were decent, but in any case better after they throw in the broiler at home. Lemonade was good for a lemonade lover for my friend.

Nice shop with great variety. Unfortunately, very expensive and low CP! The sandwich baguettes were completely soft and chewy, not crunchy. The salads tasted good, but way too expensive. The almond croissant was the worst, so below average.

Came for pastries, stayed for dinner as everything else was booked at the peak of Thanksgiving weekend. The food is reasonably good but somewhat pricey for a takeout. We liked tomato rice soup.

Great food, coffee and bakery/pastry...be ready for a crowd, but take a number and lines move quickly. Been a customer for at least 40 years.

Lovely bakery. Very busy, but well organized and beautiful baked goods.
