Kaito - Capitola

I just enjoyed the Roasted Garlic Tonkatsu wheels, and they were absolutely fantastic! The ginger flavor was subtle, and the garlic wasn't overpowering at all. The pork that accompanied it was a bit sweet and incredibly tender. It was also topped with crispy garlic, which added a wonderful texture to the noodles. The price was excellent for the portion size! I will definitely be coming back for this. I can't wait to try the other flavors!

We visited Santa Cruz frequently and Kaito always served as our go-to place whenever we weren’t sure what to eat. I'm particularly fond of their strong garlic dishes. However, it's been almost two years since our last visit, and today we discovered that the restaurant had moved to a mall. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I was pleased to find that it’s still owned by the same people and the quality remains just as good as ever!

One review said that this was the best robbers in Santa Cruz (the only one). I agreed that the rams really didn't taste bad. The soup was good, Chashu was good, corn was fresh and sweet. Your sushi was also great. I guess whenever I want to eat ramen. I'm here.

I ordered AKA TONKOTSi paid around $16.00 tax incl. The pic on the wall showed something completely different. It shows a piece of meat and vegetables. I ordered to go. They gave me a big plastic bowl, but inside of it a very small plastic container with the ramen soup in it. Basically i paid $16.00 for a small bowl of ramen without meat. I felt cheated!
