450 Teppanyaki - Carbondale

We came from the city and heard how great it was, so we tried. tempura garnel, sushi, the poke bowl all sensational and fresh fresh fresh!

Overall good Japanese, especially for a little mountain town. Decent atmosphere, though nothing amazing. An extensive menu with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options, which is partly why we tried it. Not a cheap meal, so this won't be where we eat all the time, but it was good for a change of pace.

I called yesterday before 3p to ask if I could pls place a lunch special order over the phone dine in (eat there) bc the person couldn’t understand what I was asking it went past 3pThey weren’t able to accommodate me or help me outI’ve been going here for a really long time supporting this local businessSince they couldn’t help me I went to Mings dine-in paid full price, no specialI won’t be giving 450 Teppanyaki my business anymoreGlad to know they’re doing so well esp during off season that they’re able to turn customers and business awayWishing them the continued successThanks anyway ?

I went during a slow time. Waited 45 minutes and paid 45 dollars for the smallest sushi I have ever seen in my life. Will not return.

Ordered takeout. Waiter was very attentive and brought me a cup of hot tea while I was waiting. Food was tasty as always.
