Applebee's Grill - Carbondale

If I could give a .3 star I would. I’ve been sitting at the door waiting to be waited on and to make it worse I’m a deliverer for DoorDash and grubhub. They still don’t give a damn. They wanna say the kitchen is swamped but the restaurant is not even full. The disrespect to the customers ordering and to the curriers is something else. Do better. Shaking my damn head.

When we got there, every single table was covered with used, dirty dishes and this was at 3:30pm so it was not during a busy time. Our waitress brought me the wrong cocktail and gave me attitude when I told her so. They were out of all side dishes besides french fries. I had ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp and both were burnt and tasted horrible. The sautéed onions and mushrooms were incredibly greasy and I only got one tiny piece of mushroom. The spinach and artichoke dip was very thick and pasty. The out of a jar salsa was the best part of the meal. Will NOT be returning there again.

It was the worst place I believe I have eaten. Tòk 45 minutes to just get a salad, 2 hours to get ribs which were horrible. We went for our 40th anniversary because we love Applebee's where we live. I don't advise anyone to eat at carbondale Applebee'

Surprisingly, barely anyone was present outside of staff, though numerous take out orders were seen being filled. The food was the quality one would expect from Applebee's.

The place was dead in fhe afternoon. We went for drinks and a meeting after work and the drinks were not very good and my ribs were coldnwhen they finally got served in
