Papa Johns Pizza - Carbondale

The only reason I’m giving this place a star is that I couldn’t choose zero. After waiting over an hour for my delivery, I received the wrong order. When I called to address the issue, the manager was dishonest and unhelpful right from the start. The customer service was abysmal. After some back-and-forth, she finally told me she could correct my order and send it out, but it would take a while since they were very busy. I agreed to wait. Then, just 10-15 minutes later, she called back to say she forgot to mention that they needed to collect the old pizza first. During a pandemic, you want me to return a pizza? I told her there was still a pizza left, but after waiting so long, my kids were hungry and had already started eating it. I've never encountered such a lack of concern for customers. I usually order from somewhere else, and this experience reinforced why. Everyone makes mistakes, but as a business, you need to be willing and prepared to rectify those mistakes. I am very disappointed with Papa John’s in Carbondale tonight.
