We decided to place a direct order in an effort to support local businesses and avoid using third-party delivery services. However, our food took an hour and a half to arrive, with an extra minute delay. We ordered two basic curries with all the usual spices. Unfortunately, we have been unable to contact the restaurant as their phone appears to be turned off. It appears that this establishment does not appreciate customers who are trying to support them.

We were appalled and famished. We decided to place our order directly with the restaurant in order to support a local business, rather than using a national app. They initially gave us a two-hour waiting time and then informed us of a further delay just minutes before the food was supposed to arrive. Despite our attempts to contact the restaurant, they did not respond and we were left with no options. It is clear that the new management has not improved their service or communication. We advise others to avoid ordering from this restaurant, as they take your money, provide terrible service, and leave you stranded. It was a truly frightening experience.

We have ordered from this restaurant many times as we live close by, and we are very happy to have discovered this place. The restaurant is extremely clean, and the food is brilliant as it is cooked to order. The chef is willing to make adjustments to our dishes (my wife prefers her dhansak mild while I like it spicy, and they always accommodate our preferences without any issue). The chicken curry is also outstanding, and the fragrant and fluffy rice deserves a special mention. While it may not be the cheapest option in the city, the quality of the food justifies the price. Curries are beautiful, only disappointed by the frozen chips that are quite bad compared to other takeaways.

Got a takeaway from here whilst on a business trip in the area. I ordered chicken bhuna Madras hot. The heat was there, the chicken meat was good but the favouring let it down. I had it with pillar rice which was ok. I didn't...finish the meal as it was a little oily and due to the slightly bitter favouring of the dish.
