Bidra med feedbackI love Indian food and I must say is not very impressive if you are looking for an authentic Indian food. The dishes are very oily and perhaps it is the reason why they are good at the time, but you will suffer with outrage for the next 24 hours, although I cannot come over fired or tandori dishes. But if you are hungry and you enjoy eating large portions it could be good space for you.
Although the food is really nice it's over priced. Myself and partner called here. I had no problem with the service. But I can't sing and dance about it either although it was fine. Food was nice. Tasty and more than acceptable. Drinks nice and cold with a decent choice. But here is my major gripe. A service charge. Being a tipper when I get good service my opinion of any restraunt charging service charge is well....cheeky! Like I said you don't be disappointed with food how ever there are other Indian restraints around the area which you will get food of the same if not better quality along with better service and a healthier bank balance at the end.
Poor service, missing water glass, raw chicken wing (but appreciate honesty of the staff in admitting this . Duck over cooked, mushrooms undercooked and the remaining food was slightly above average. Believe they have just got a new chef so not sure the older ratings are so relevant (as was expecting good things from a 4star+ . Very rarely leave bad reviews but unfortunately wouldn't recommend this establishment
Being Asian myself I can say catagorically that none of the food there was authentic Asian food. The curries were colours IV never seen in my life being served in any Asian country and the service was awful. Late, rude and one older waitor told us to get off the table so he could give it to other people. The younger waiters were more polite. We heard people shouting at eachother in the kitchen. The food was awful and the portion sizes were tiny. Will never be going back
The food arrived cold. I asked for chicken rogan Josh which was basically chicken cooked in tomato sauce and had no spices. I said I wanted something different because I knew there would be a chance of a reheat but I was brought the exact same thing but with a load more coriander to make it look different to when It arrived cold. I knew exactly what they were going to do. It was hardly edible from tbe amount of coriander it had. I then was given the tikka masala which was ok at best but way over priced. In conclusion the food was cold, the restaurant was freezing and dark, and ended up paying over £50 for 2 people for food that would normally cost you just over £30. A restaurant perhaps that thrives on its past reputation rather than its current quality.
