Keelers Neighborhood Steakhouse

I would say it’s one of my favorite restaurants in the Carefree/Cave Creek area. It’s a really consistent, casual, American Contemporary cuisine with tons of indoor, outdoor, and even rooftop seating (a really nice option in the Spring or late Fall). Tonight we chose to sit outdoors and being December 26th it was very cold outside but the heaters felt nice and made it quite warm. Our server was very polite and attentive and management checked in on us mid meal as well. Parking is plentiful and they also have a large bar right behind the hostess stand. I started the meal with the French Onion Soup and it was actually really tasty. Prepared classic style with a deep brown broth (my preference instead of the white colored style) and plenty of Gruyère melted on top. For my entree I chose the 12oz Filet Mignon which had a nice char to it as well as a nice taste. I would definitely order it again I finished every bite. Finally for dessert I topped off the meal with a few scoops of strawberry and caramel gelato. An all around great meal! I would suggest to anyone for almost any occasion. It is a casual setting so may not be right for certain formal meals but for a nice dinner it would be a great choice any night.

I was in Carefree for a relaxing retreat, courtesy of my daughter. It was our last night here before returning home. I loved everything about this place; the decor, the ambiance, the service, the staff and the food all deserve 5 stars. The bonus was a table next to ours chatted us up and upon finding out that it was my birthday ordered shots for us and even paid our bill. Thank you to our waiter Michael and really everyone there. We absolutely adore this family-owned steakhouse; it truly is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is excellent, and the food is delicious. All these elements combine to create a wonderful setting for an evening out, whether you're catching up with friends, celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a date night with your partner, or even dining alone at the bar. If you haven't had the chance to eat here yet, I highly recommend it.

We are fortunate to have such a fantastic spot like Keeler’s in our neighborhood. The staff is outstanding and highly attentive, always offering great recommendations. Tana and Will at the bar truly elevate the experience. We love that we can either grab a delicious burger and beers or indulge in steaks with wine, and even enjoy cocktails!

I really should have ordered the burger! Instead, I chose the beef brisket sandwich from the Happy Hour Menu and requested the BBQ sauce on the side. While they did provide it on the side, there was also sauce on the sandwich itself. I could have sent it back, but I decided not to. Unfortunately, the beef brisket was much too fatty for my liking. Meanwhile, the others in my party ordered hamburgers and seemed quite satisfied. However, the fries and onion rings were delicious!
