Boutin's Cajun Seafood Steakhouse Oyster

The wait was 45 minutes long and once the food was brought to the table it was cold. We drove from New Iberia thinking that we would have a good dining experience but that wasn't the case. The waitress kept apologizing and then said we should come to her house and eat because she can cook way better. The fried potatoes were extremely salty and the fried oysters tasted like they were going bad. I didn't want to believe the 3.9 rating review but that is generous considering the poor quality of the food there!!!!!

I was wowed last night for dinner. I had a lemondrop martini, seafood wonton and the crabmeat augratin. I really enjoyed them all. Best augratin I have had in a long time! Service was great! Will be back soon!

The food was very good, but the experience not so much!!We never got bread until we asked. My cup of gumbo did not come until our meals were served. Had to continuously ask for refills. The service was horrible! If I ever do go again, I will definitely request not to have her again!!So I gave it another try today.. even more disappointing the shrimp poboy is okay at best!! Huge bread with very little shrimp on it..

The food was outstanding!! Yummy. Can't wait to go back. Service was excellent. Chef came out.. told him food was most excellent The atmosphere was beautiful. I enjoyed the art work as well!! I would hang some of the artwork in my home!!

First off Salad arrived at same time as entre. Both of our steaks were not cooked as ordered and we sent them back. When they came back potatoes were cold and tea was watered down. Server said he would be back with more tea and never did. I ended up bringing my steak and potatoes home. Maybe I can put it back on the grill and cook it the way I ordered it, besides by now I lost my appetite. I Wasn 't going to send it back again. I ordered stuffed potatoes and got baked potatoe not to mention mushrooms were ordered and not put on steak initially. Just one mistake after another. Pay attention! Service and kitchen can make or break a restaurant and , I am sorry is acceptable but not when you have to continuously apologize for messing up.2 of the last 3 visits were not so pleasant. The last time I thought was just an off night and gave them another chance. We eat out often but will be a while before we come back.
