Pho Real - Carmel

We drove over an hour to try this restaurant because my husband was eager to sample the food. While the food itself was good, the service left much to be desired. The staff kept ignoring us, failing to bring sauce and spoons for our soup. After we were ready to pay, we waited a long time for the check. When it finally arrived, we continued to be overlooked until my husband had to go to the front desk to settle the bill. We were really disappointed with the service!

As an out-of-town visitor, I was really looking forward to enjoying some pho. I ordered my food to go, but otherwise, I might have sent it back and left. The meat was bland and tasteless, and the rolls seemed like they came straight from a Costco freezer pack. The nuoc mam was so flavorless that it almost felt like a parody of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I was genuinely excited to experience a taste of home, but this was nothing like what I grew up with. It was a huge disappointment.

Before my visit, I had never had Pho but had heard wonderful things about this restaurant from my colleagues. I decided it would be the perfect place to try it for the first time. I stopped by the other day and ordered the Pho special, and it was fantastic! I expected to like the meal, but it surpasses my expectations! I will definitely be returning!

I placed an order for 5 wings well done carb Rangoon . My chicken was uncooked , **** pink on the inside . I returned the food asked for a refund . The manager lady was cleaning said she’ll refund my money before the business close . She stated that the cook mistimed my order . My main concern is food poisoning if so , I will take future actions . I’m very upset , this was my first time ordering from pho real The owner did refund my money she was very apologetic . I do appreciate the free meal she offered because of her honesty effort to replace my order , I will try the restaurant again .

One of the most delicious flavorful beef bone broths I've tasted! My mom had the veggie pho and again the broth was full of depth. Our server was great, everyone we interacted with was kind. We also had veggie egg rolls that were fresh and crispy. The atmosphere was very clean inside as well, we will be back for more!
