The Pocket - Carmel-by-the-Sea

Sonny, Jane, Colin and Jordan among many other servers and helpers were excellent timely, unintrusive and caring. We ordered five appetizers, and I definitely could not pick my favorite. The entrées were properly proportioned, and all were excellent with unique flavors. If you're in Carmel, I definitely rate this restaurant five stars. I strongly suggest Reservations.

Must try! Everything is amazing. The food and drinks are delicious and staff is super friendly. The restaurant is also very beautiful. If you're in the area you must definitely try this place.

We keep coming back because the restaurant has a fun and vibrant energy about it. The bar and food are good. The service is ok but I don't think I'd say the restaurant has “good service”. It was good last night but the service can be spotty, sometimes good and sometimes lacking. For food, the chicken curry is consistently excellent. We'll go back.

Lovely gem in Carmel. The food is consistently delicious. Our compliments to the Chef! However, the service is a bit awkward at times, with corrections required too frequently for this caliber of restaurant.

Great atmosphere, lively and buzzing, attentive service and great food. We split the octopus starter which was cooked to perfection succlant without being chewy and the chorizo mousse adding a element of spice. My wife enjoyed the mushroom pasta and I devoured the cacio e Pepe rissito enjoying parmesan crisp. Good wine list too.
