Shuckin' Shack - Carolina Beach

I read that this place has the best seafood in town, so I really wanted to go. Since I read it is busy and some of the reviews reference long waiting times and busy staff, we went for lunch and got there a little early at 11:15 or 11:30. We took it right that it was almost empty when we arrived there and packed with a line when we were gone. The staff was friendly, fast and patient with our daughters. The food was delicious! I had damped crabs, mussels and shrimps and it was heavenly. My family doesn't love seafood as much as I do, they got corn dog bites, chicken fingers (Kids), and a lobster roll. It's great. I highly recommend this place, but I also recommend you to go early for lunch.

LOVED IT. Seafood was all super fresh!!!!! Great service. I?m not sure how the staff remains so patient and friendly with the busy crowds. It was worth the wait time.

The seafood was fresh and very flavorful and the drinks (The Pain Killer) was also very flavorful. The staff was very friendly, the bartender gave recommendations for other business we may enjoy. Overall the experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend Shuckin' Shack.

Seemed like a legit place for locals...as a tourist it was okay. They were slowing down from being busy but as a server myself.. Kinda felt ignored...we sat for a while after deciding we needed time to view the menu..i was pretty disappointed with the amount of fried pickles we received.. Then Bartender forgot to put in our peel n eat shrimp..so we just took the check and headed out. Decor was cool. Hoping next time for a better visit

Came here for the lobster dinner special they have on Fridays. They didn't have it so I settled for a lobster roll. It didn't disappoint. The hush puppies were good. I had the SOB oyster shooter which was amazing. I sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome. She was very friendly and attentive. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go back!
