Pizza Artista - Carolina Township

The setup at Pizza Artista is similar to places like Moe's or Blaze Pizza, with a concept that Blaze executes quite well. You stand in line, and each team member moves along with you to customize and bake your pizza. Ideally, this process requires around 5-7 staff members to keep wait times manageable. Unfortunately, during our visit, there were only three staff members working, which meant we stood at the counter for nearly 30 minutes. I brought this up to one of the employees, who acknowledged the staffing shortage. When I asked about starting pay, he mentioned it was around $9 an hour plus tips. It's easy to see how that could contribute to their staffing challenges—not just here, but in the restaurant industry as a whole. When we finally received our food, I can happily say that the pizzas were delicious, and my dad polished off his calzone in no time. The food is great, especially considering the price. My recommendation for anyone wanting to try this place is to call in a takeout order to avoid the long wait in line. Another interesting option could be for them to offer uncooked pizzas for customers to bake at home, much like Basil's in Savannah. We’ll definitely return, but hopefully by then, the staffing issues will be resolved. Great food at a fantastic price, but the long wait times are a drawback.

This place offers unique pizzas made fresh as you move through the line. The new owners just took over yesterday, and they were incredibly friendly. The pizza I tried, called the "Figin Awesome," was extremely flavorful; however, the Tasso ham tends to overpower the other ingredients, so if you're not a fan, I recommend ordering it without the Tasso. I also tried a classic pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious too!

We enjoyed two delicious pizzas – the Fig-N-Awesome and Classic Cajun. The customer service was outstanding! We will definitely be returning!

Great pizza ?, staff was very friendly and helpful being it was my first visit and will definitely try again. Short staffed, but still working very hard to provide great customer service.

I do not return to this place that disgusting I lost my money my first time in this place and not vulvo ... I do not recommend them
