Potager A Kitchen Garden - CAROOL

The service at Potager is exceptional, with a wonderfully personal touch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We reserved a table on the outdoor deck and truly enjoyed our experience while watching the sunset. I highly recommend dining here, especially for the lovely view of the garden where some of the ingredients are grown.

Wow, when it comes to their email list, they really know how to impress! This weekend, we attended one of their regular tasting dinners, and it was not only delicious and creative but also uniquely fun! (One dish was a bit too salty, but I can overlook that.) The level of care, the cheerful staff (especially Sal), and the owner's great sense of humor all contributed to an incredibly vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The other diners added to the excitement, too. I almost hesitate to post this review because I don't want this incredible gem in Forest Neck to become too busy!

If you go, be sure to ask for a table with a view, as it's one of the main attractions of the restaurant. The service was friendly but seemed disorganized and slow, missing at least two opportunities to take our orders, which was surprising given the situation. The food was very good, although on the pricier side. The gardens could certainly be utilized better, as they felt more like an afterthought than an attraction. The true measure of a restaurant of this caliber is how you feel after paying the bill and leaving. We hoped to feel elated, but unfortunately, this visit fell short of our expectations. We will give it another try, but we remain somewhat hesitant.

We went to Potager for a friend's cosy wedding reception and were blown away. This little restaurant really does everything so well. The setting is perfect and quiet, the kitchen garden is fab and the inside of the restaurant feels like you are in a friend's cottage. All the food they served was delicious, including having top notch vegetarian options. The service was impeccable. My partner and I have been to a lot of top restaurants but this one has been our favourite so far. Welcome to your new favourite mountain restaurant! Everything was incredible. Big fans of the 300gram sirloin, gnocchi, and duck confit potatoes, and all the deserts were excellent. The staff are both lovely and professional, amazing backdrop tucked into the mountain, garden used to for fresh veggies and herbs. It all made for a beautiful experience for my whole family and we can’t stop talking about it. Such a great atmosphere and spirit about the place. WE WILL BE BACK!
