Braceria Al Fornello - CAROVIGNO

If you're a meat eater then you must visit this place. You choose the meat you want from the butcher (sausages/steaks/etc) and they cook them and bring them with whichever sides you like. The people are super friendly and I make it a point to visit whenever I can!

The meat is sold by weight, which is fine. Before ordering I asked the waitress how much the steaks weighted and she shouted over to the chef who said 300g. To make sure I had not misunderstood I got the waitress to type the number into my phone. When the bill came I had been charged for a 459g steak, and then rounded up to 500g. Since all the steaks were pre cut on display, then even if they didn't sell them many times each day, why didn't they weigh it which they had to do before cooking anyway! And when they weighed it before cooking and realised they had massively underestimated the weight, why not come and ask me if it was OK, after all there was only one other table in. There are plenty of other nicer (and honest) restaurants in town, so pick one of those instead.

Friendly atmosphere in this small restaurant in the town centre. we enjoyed lots of grilled chicken wings with different taste (salty, chilly, crispy), we could not stop eating ! service was quick and bill was a real bargain!

Excellent quality, eaten well, paid the right, I quarreled with my girlfriend and the owner took my defenses, I can only put five stars to him

Local in beautiful square, simple and cozy. very hot inside. the bombettes were all good, we tried different types, warm and well cooked. actually a little the side of the grilled vegetables and too thin. beautiful background music.
