Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. They always have the friendliest staff and the freshest ingredients and I could rave about how exceptional Mercato is for hours. ?
This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the area. They excel at fresh, delicious, and brilliantly crafted recipes, that rotate with the season. It's food you love to eat because of how delicious it is, and it leaves your body feeling good because of the quality and care.
The pizza was phenomenal: great crust and overall flavor and prep. The lemon poppy cake and mango sorbet were amazing, too. However, the service may have been the best part of our meal. The staff worked in concert to ensure we were being taken care of and they were all genuinely friendly.
The salads are the best in the Triangle: fresh, well balanced, delicious. Pizzas are reliably good. A favorite place in town. Dietary restrictions: They’re very careful about allergies. Patient and upbeat about it.
