Bidra med feedbackAfter another 20 minutes, our food finally arrived, served by Alexis, who was clearly annoyed by our comments on the long wait. When we expressed our frustration, she dismissively said, “I’m sorry we were busy,” even though we had been waiting while other tables, who came in after us, were already served. The restaurant wasn’t even full at that point. The quality of the food was disappointing. Everything was lukewarm or cold, and we didn’t receive what we ordered. My dad’s gravy was separated and congealed, which indicated it had been sitting out too long. My omelet was poorly cooked, and the potatoes were subpar. The cinnamon roll was tough and hard on the outside, with only the center being somewhat edible. My husband’s pancakes were greasy, and my dad’s sausage was so overcooked it felt like a hockey puck. My mother found her dish equally unappetizing. When we mentioned our concerns to Alexis, she responded with the same half-hearted apology in a condescending tone. Overall, the food quality and service were unacceptable. We couldn’t finish our meals, and both my husband and dad ended up going to McDonald's to eat afterward. When we checked out, we had to go get our own bill, and the cashier, who had originally overlooked us, sighed heavily as she handed us our checks. Our bills were even incorrect, but at that point, we just wanted to leave and paid without further argument. My parents’ bill was $27, while ours was $28—all for terrible food and poor service, topped off with Alexis’ rude attitude. We will never eat here again. I've never been treated so poorly, nor had such awful food. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. I’m even hesitant to try Wahlburgers now, knowing the same waitstaff works there.
Finally, we caught Tim's attention, and he found our server, who sheepishly admitted that they had forgotten about us entirely. After another 20 minutes of waiting, our food was finally brought out by Alexis. The delay had clearly annoyed my dad, who made a comment about our long wait, prompting a rather dismissive response from Alexis: “I’m sorry, we were busy,” despite the fact that the restaurant wasn’t full and many tables had already finished their meals. When our food arrived, it was either lukewarm or cold, and we didn’t get what we’d ordered. My dad’s gravy was clumpy and separated, indicating it had been sitting out too long. My omelet was overcooked, and the potatoes were unappetizing. The cinnamon roll was hard and overly crispy on the outside, better described as stale, and the insides were the only part worth eating. My husband’s pancakes were greasy, and my dad’s sausage was so hard it could have been used as a hockey puck. Overall, my parents found their meals equally unsatisfying. Once again, Alexis brushed off our complaints with a half-hearted apology as if that justified everything. The food was simply unacceptable, and we struggled to eat any of it. I ended up feeling nauseous, while my husband and dad opted to grab a meal at McDonald's afterward. To make matters worse, when we went to pay, we had to retrieve our own check. The cashiers, who seemed to have forgotten us as well, sighed heavily as they handed us our bills. Our checks were even wrong, but we were so frustrated at that point that we just paid without further complaint. For the poor quality of food and service we experienced, our meals rang up to $28 and $27 for my parents — all unworthy of the price. We will never return to this restaurant. I've never encountered such bad treatment and terrible food in my life. Avoid this place at all costs. I won’t even consider trying Wahlburgers, knowing the same staff works there.
Close the store at 9:30 and no one had keys to get so I could buy disappointed
A couple of years ago, the Carroll store underwent a major renovation, which resulted in having several aisles for similar products. For instance, instead of finding all the chips and snacks in one aisle, they were distributed across 3 to 4 different ones. Recently, within the last month, the store has been reset once again. This is incredibly irresponsible, especially during a pandemic. What used to be a quick grocery trip now takes 2 to 3 times longer because customers are unsure of where items are located, and the aisles are poorly labeled. Items that you would typically expect to find together are once again scattered throughout multiple aisles. Having worked in retail before, I can honestly say I've never encountered a store being reset so drastically or so frequently.
The market grill has a wonderful breakfast and dinner menu. The prices are not bad and you get a lot of food for your money. The service is great, they are always willing to help someone. Give them a chance and you won't be disappointed!
