Gen Korean Bbq House - Carrollton

Absolutely delicious! It was an outstanding dining experience. I really enjoyed how interactive the meal was, and everything was seasoned just right. The dish paired wonderfully with a plum gin. The staff was friendly, and the people at the next table offered excellent recommendations. I’ll definitely be returning!

During my first visit, I had a great experience with the food. It took my group a few tries to discover our favorite dishes, which turned out to be beef bulgogi, pork belly, and short ribs. Our waiter was attentive and made sure to replace the grill regularly, so our food didn't get too charred. While they don’t offer fried rice, they do provide steamed rice and three different sauces for added flavor. It's definitely an experience I would love to enjoy again and again.

We wanted Korean BBq and found an all you can eat for $30/person. You do have to order in 4's so please bring a friend or 2 to get your moneys worth. Service is frequent and respectable with a zen atmosphere.

The restaurant has a very nice and lively atmosphere. The toilets were very clean and the food seemed premium. The best I can definitely say about this place was customer service! There was no time when I had to worry about not drinking enough or having too many empty plates at my table. The staff was very sharp and super friendly! The food, is obviously Korean grill and is everything you eat restaurant (2 hours limit) and you order the food as you go. There is a kind of hot plate in the middle of the table where you cook a majority of the dishes yourself on this hot plate. This is definitely a great place to take your employees, friends and family to try something new and share it together. You can only eat on weekends. Lunch ends at 3 p.m. during the weekdays. Drinks do not come with the meal and must be bought separately, but are also endless. It was good to break my diet today!

I was to several Korean barbecues in DFW and Gen, by far, is the best in the city. The place was really nice and well organized. The staff was attentive. The food was well seasoned, but not too sweet. Absolutely come back!
