I'm a reno, nw native who lived in seattle in the last 12 years and last week I've brought people to reno so he could see my hometown and on the way back from virginia city we stopped in carson city and also ate in mi casa. I had previously worked in reno (1995-1997) and then again (2001-2004) for mi casa. eating was just as good as ever and francisco (GM/Owner) was just as nice. I have been in the hospitality industry for 30 years and I would like to thank francisco for giving me the first lift of server / barkeeper to management. I have really learned a lot from this gentleman and a lifelong friend, and if he is ever in the opposite of seattle to visit me at the azteca mexican restaurant in Burien,WA.

I treated my students after a day on the field to eat in micasa too in carson city. my cheese and swirling enchiladas with a fried egg. large and comfortable, with several dining rooms from a cozy bar to a large indoor terrace.

Incredible staff. Everyone is so polite and inviting. The owner treats you like family. The atmosphere and setup of the whole restaurant is very homely and beautiful. I highly recommend stopping in for some delicious hot Mexican cuisine while you are in Carson or simply passing through.
