Julian's Steakhouse - Carteret

Unfortunately, our bartender was not very attentive. The cocktail sets she provided looked like they had been cut with child-sized scissors from old tablecloths — they were uneven and not well-fitting on the table. There were no napkins, so I went back to request some. Her response was "Tuchservietten?" but I ended up with four cloth napkins instead. When our steaks arrived, we asked for steak sauce. The bartender/waitress handed us an empty bottle, and after asking again, provided a second bottle that was questionable; the cap was half broken, and the neck looked suspicious. We also requested steak knives, but what we received were what the men at our table referred to as “butter knives on steroids.” When we inquired about actual steak knives, the bartender disappeared for about 15 minutes before returning with two jagged knives that were so bent they looked like they had been used as screwdrivers. I had requested oil and vinegar for my salad, but less than two minutes after I sat down, one of the waiters whispered to the bartender that she needed them for the buffet side. When I asked her if there was only one set available, she confirmed there was. I expressed my frustration, and she merely shrugged her shoulders in response.
