Bidra med feedbackThe reuben is bigger than it looks. I ate half of it. Took the rest of it with me. The fries I swear they where made fron scratch. Ate all of them so fresh crispy. Will be back for more. Great service great food.
I am an African-American veteran that came to Carthage for business and stopped in for lunch. The front area was empty and looked like a rest stop novelty store. I wasnt sure if I was at the right place until I walked to the end of the gallery tosee another long hallway that leads to the restaurant. The restaurant was eerily setup like a conservative cafeteria with anout-of-place tiki bar with barstools placed in the most anxiety-prone area of traffic. A massive Blue Lives Matter flag hangsfrom ceiling to floor by the bathroom. I sit at one of the oddly placed barstools and order a drink. The bartender raises aneyebrow and asks what news group I belong to. I had no idea what he was talking about (weeks of analysis finally helped me tounderstand what he meant. He was telling me this was a conservative establishment and I am out of place). It was after he madethe drink and I told him I was a vet that his mood changed about me. This bar prides itself on appealing to a certainclientele, and I do not recommend it for anyone who has values.
Wonderful collection of art and other locally made objects. also contain alcohol and cigars
My Rueben was fantastic. The fries were perfect. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the lady who waited on me was so sweet. I also bought the T-shirt We the People BACK The BLUE. The Woodshed has other foods I will be back to have. My brother has bought a few things from the Art Emporium. When you come to Carthage don't miss checking out these two places.
Best burger in town and the Rueben is truly one of the best I’ve ever had… was also really surprised at how much space they have. Staff was amazing too. Highly recommend
