Kabuki Japanese Steak House Sushi

Not a local, so we searched online. The website make everything look really good, but looks can be deceiving. The shopping stripe it was located in looked sketch, but the decor inside was nice, a great Japanese feel. We were seated right away and the staff from the front, to waiter, to chef were all extremely nice. We all ordered the hibachi and 1 appetizer. The appetizer never came out, but we were also never charged for it so no harm there. We did get alot of food on the hibachi, the problem though was the rice and noodles really didn't have a flavor, it tasted like just plain rice...thank goodness for the yumyum sauce and soy sauce I was able to spruce it up. I also asked for my steak to be medium rare and I got well done (so the flavor was all gone and the meat was now tough to chew)

Very big portions and the chef was good. A little bit more on the mellow side. Only complaint was how early they brought out the white rice, it was cold by the time the rest of the food was cooked.

Great place. I have been there over a couple of times in their live counter. In my opinion, I feel the chef's show has a huge variation depending on who performs it. Some chefs are great, but some aren't. Food tastes good. But if there may be a suggestion, the sauce seems repetitive throughout the hibachi. Some variation in sauce and spices would make the make food more interesting. Overall, I like the place but if all chefs put up a consistent show, it would make it a great place!
