Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Cary

I visited this restaurant while in Chesapeake, VA, and had an amazing drink and overall experience. So, on my way home, I decided to stop by again since there's nothing like it in my area. Unfortunately, my experience this time was disappointing. Selene, who served us and prepared our drinks, was quite rude and treated us as though we were an inconvenience. To make matters worse, I believe she diluted our smoothies. I overheard her colleagues mentioning that only two pumps of water were used in my drink, while she insisted it was three. As a result, my Bahama Mama and my friend's drink were watery, unappetizing, and tasted just like strawberry water. I left feeling very dissatisfied after spending $12, only to take three sips before disposing of it. I do not recommend this place!

Excellent!!! I ordered my meal through the app, and it was ready when I arrived. More importantly, everything was perfect. The Peanut Butter Banana Crunch Flatbread is one of my favorites, but it can be tricky to get the right amount of honey to minimize mess and keep the granola from falling everywhere. This time, the sandwich was perfect. Thanks! P.S. My Island Green Smoothie was also fantastic.

Customer service was great! Smoothies always taste great. The guy in the register was so friendly even though he was here since 6:00! Give him a raise.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this location. It's quite disappointing for a Tropical Smoothie franchise. The staff seem indifferent to the customers, focusing more on quickly making smoothies and assembling sandwiches. This is my third visit, and each time I’ve left feeling angry and dissatisfied with both the service and the food quality. I definitely won't be coming back, and I recommend others go elsewhere or visit Smoothie King for a better smoothie experience. During my last visit, they completely forgot my smoothie order, even though I had placed it. They ended up making smoothies for the next five customers while I waited. When I inquired about mine, I was wrongly told that I hadn’t ordered one. They eventually promised to take care of it, but after waiting an additional 10 minutes with no smoothie in sight, I decided to leave. Overall, this experience was unacceptable, and the staff was quite rude.

Ordered the jerk chicken wrap WITHOUT the pineapple salsa. Confirmed twice at the counter, the girl at the register even asked the other girl in the back to how to remove the pineapple on the computer. Before receiving our meal we were told they were out of lettuce and if it was ok if they subbed it with spinach. We said of course it was ok and reminded her that I didnt want the pineapple salsa on the wrap. On the 1st bite I took, guess what? Pineapple salsa!
