Bidra med feedbackCame here with my friends on a Saturday and it was a pretty huge restaurant! There was a lot of seating and we were served promptly. I?m picky with sushi and Thai food- so I tried their BOGO sushi and it was alright. I don?t think it was out of this world but it hit the spot on my sushi cravings. The menu was huge as well, so I couldn?t tell what their specialties were. The plaza this place is located in is a cute spot to spend a day at, so it had a nice ambience. Not sure if I would go out of my way to come back, but it?s a solid spot to eat :
Stirred Frey menu tastes good and authentic. However, I noticed that the proportion of sticky rice served with crispy roasted pork was not reduced for any reason, unlike the last time. We ordered medium spicy for Papaya salad, but it came to hot for us to eat Thais. When we asked for a new one, it was so corrupt. The substitute Papaya salad bowl also lacked fermented fish sauce. Where's the middle floor here?
I been here so many times, the food is pretty good, staff super friendly. The reason I give 4 stars because sometimes I been here the food is a little bit salty and overcooked! But it?s ok, I?m keep coming here! I know we cannot perfect all the time) best choice for my Thai and Japanese food in Cary.
Honestly my rating is probably a 3.5, not 3 stars. The pros-GREAT service, for real the staff was very sweet, prompt, and knowledgeable, really nice presentation, and large portions. Cons-the seafood was inconsistent, some was overcooked, some cooked well, but the majority, especially the mussels and lobster, were overcooked. The sauce on his noodles was also very, very sweet, which was actually a running theme. The cocktails we had were also very sweet, like too much syrup was used. The sushi I had was good. I did get a tempura battered roll (didn't see that it was all fried, thought it had tempura in it), again, the seafood was slightly overcooked. The menu is also large, almost overwhelmingly so, especially if you're hungry. Not like Cheesecake Factory large, but big. There is also gluten free kind of mentioned online, and I can tell you that means no tempura, no sauces of any kind, including soy, and no masago. People with gluten allergies could probably find somewhere else with more variety. Overall, the experience was...fine, again, great service so absolutely zero issue there. But in this day and age if people are going to spend money the quality should be a lot higher.
Take out service for a Thursday night was pretty long about 40+ mins, I?m guessing because the dine-in area was also pretty busy. The food is good for the price. Nothing about the rolls makes it stand out from the rest of the sushi restaurants around. I do like that this restaurant is located within an outdoor shopping area with a variety of other restaurants and shops next door
