Ruen Mying Thai - Cashel legal

I opted for a red seafood curry. I was expecting the usual frozen seafood mix. I was very plesently suprised by fresh seafood ingrediants, including large mussels in their shells. The flavours were fresh and balanced, although maybe a little lacking in heat. The service was very good. Would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Nice Thai. Felt authentic. Enjoyable meal with good service. The staff were very pleasant. Service was quick. We really enjoyed our meal.

We had a terrific meal of various curries at Ruen Mying Thai Restaurant, which was a welcome addition to our dinners while in Ireland. We were a little skeptical to be honest, but the service was warm and friendly and well-timed and the food was very good.

After reading some of the reviews on here it's like our food came from a different restaurant. We ordered here for the 1st time today looking forward to having a Thai. We ordered a yellow chicken curry, sweet and sour crispy chicken, spring rolls, fried rice and noodles. The yellow curry sauce was ok but the veg and chicken were not the best veg was very soft and the potatoes were like mush on the menu say's every is is cooked fresh and I expect my veg in a restaurant takeaway to have a bite to them not soft and soggy in the dish I found a piece of gristle from the chicken turned me right off. The sweet and sour was sour only no sweetness to it at all, the spring rolls were not crispy they were soggy and watery inside like cooked from frozen, positive the fried rice and noodles were nice and the staff were lovely,

Visited Ruen Mying thai 3 or 4 times now and has been top class each time. Dishes are of good size and very fresh. Restaurant is nice and staff are pleasant. Will be back again, for sure.
