This is a treat and not to be missed. Just great food straight from the small kitchen adjacent to the butcher shop. Riccardo makes you feel welcome with a smile that says it all. Some of the best meat you will find in Chianti along with Mama's kitchen goodies combines to make this a must when in the area and well worth a stop in Castellina

Came to town and it happens to be time for lunch. This is a small sandwich shop with a deli connected. The guys got a sandwich and I got a wonderful tomato, cucumber, celery salad. Very quick. It was the perfect pick -me- up without breaking the bank. We sat outside on small stools with a table. Wonderful meats, wish USA had a place like this. It made shopping the rest of town very enjoyable.

We stayed nearby at a rental cottage with a grill. We shopped at this fantastic shop for Florentine steak, which was fantastic!! We also tried the Italian sausage best we have ever tasted!! and a pork chop. The butcher was very helpful and kind, and took great care in his work. Highly recommended!!

Se siete in un castello verso il pranzo non potete perdere la carne di questo eccellente macelleria. Vi suggerisco di prenotare, poiché i luoghi disponibili non sono molti e la richiesta è alta. Io e mio marito abbiamo una bistecca di porcellana e peperoni alla griglia. Che dire, la Chianina era eccellente. morbido, avido, saporito; un'esperienza più che raccomandata. Aggiungete la simpatia del personale e non sarete in grado di osare soddisfatto.

Carne eccezionale. abbiamo provato a tartare di chianina e l'hamburger, veramente dal personale è gentile e disponibile. posto super consigliato!
