Bidra med feedbackVery good restaurant when they are looking for local dishes. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. prices are very low for high quality products. in future we can come back to this best restaurant. many thanks for everything my friends. a lot of luck.
It is the only Indian restaurant in the city that eats is very good, but the naan does not taste good at all because it lacks tandoor that needs attention. everything else is in order. the location is very good in the center of the city, too much gowt. and private office and shops around them, banks and supermarkets also close.
All freshly made . kitchen in view must have one if they like Indian food
We went here because we passed it in the evening before and the smells that left him were nice, but we would just eat. it wasn't disappointed. the food matched the aroma. we had only one main and rice and naan, but they were all well cooked and the meat (lamb) was nice and tender. the staff was very pleasant and helpful in view of the language barrier. the price-performance ratio was excellent for the quality of food. the only disappointment was that they did not seem to do a pickle tablet and poppadome, unusual for an Indian restaurant, but maybe they do dinge differently in portugal. we will eat there again when we return what we regularly do
UPDATED Nov21 This restaurant now appears to have permanently closed unfortunately. Always wary of restaurants that mix speciality cuisines in this case the most bizarre pairing of Indian and Pizzeria! However reviews were good and Central Portugal is not blessed with a wide choice of Indian options so we gave it a try. Have to admit it was damn good! Service was quick (waiter languages= Portuguese/English/Hindi) and flexible with our request for extra spicy noted and acted on. Prawn Vindaloo was delicious and the Vegetable Korma just right being creamy and almond tinged and not overly sweet. Nice garlic nan and vegetable pilao rounded off a tasty meal all washed down with a frozen glassed crisp pint (Caranca) of ice cold Sagres. For the brave or indecisive there is a range of Indian Pizzas available (pizza bases with Indian toppings) which I can only presume may be popular at 2am after a night on the town. At €30 for two including drinks it is certainly a premium on standard Portuguese regional cuisine however if you, like us, sometimes just miss that little bit of England that is a good Indian then this establishment is definitely worth a visit when in CB.
