Bidra med feedbackWe spent 2 nights at the Hotel des Thermes in Castéra-Verduzan including one with a Smartbox Escapade Gourmande. In this one we had one night, breakfast, dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and access to the baths near the hotel. We set the second night via the Smartbox site. We called the day before to know the check-in time from 4pm. We had to call back to see if we could arrive after 8:00, it turns out that if you intend to arrive after 10:00. It is only on the second call that we learn that the boiling bath 30 minutes and access to the swimming pool steam sauna 1 hour of the baths has been reserved for us without warning us. The boss answers us dryly that we had to book and that's how and not otherwise. We get nicely: no violence, it's holidays. They should have sent us an email or called us... Arrived at the hotel, we were received by a charming girl who apologized for not warning us the boss had not even apologized! . The room: cozy bed, shower with unpleasant curtain, bidet with rust tasks or something? but overall. However, while we were still in bed, an employee tried to enter our room! Certainly to clean up, but the least thing would have been to knock at the door! Breakfast: 10€ for no big thing: no fresh bread, no terrible jams, reduced choice. I found a cockroach in the middle of the mini-beurres! In addition, someone was passing the vacuum cleaner just behind us while we were the only customers in the room... Dinner: hearty and very good. Rustic cuisine as you like in the Gers: garbide, foie gras, duck thigh, crispy. Menu imposed because included in the Smartbox. Note: We paid everything on the Smartbox site. On the eve of our departure, an employee tells us that the boss wants us to pay for 1 extra breakfast because not paid yet. After rereading our bill, we are certain to have paid our debt. The boss, very unfriendly and very aggressive, imposes on us to pay €10 as Smartbox only counted a breakfast. It was well noted 1 breakfast for 2 . We don't agree, but let's settle. We will make a claim from Smartbox. Review: friendly hotel, friendly staff, very beautiful region, very good gastronomy but boss infect.

A beautiful establishment that offers high-quality services. A terroir restoration worthy of an excellent gastronomer, rooms offering all the amenities and completely renovated and a personalized welcome thanks to a couple and staff in love with their crafts. Don't hesitate to do it because you will not be disappointed.
The quality down it has been 5 years since we go all summers and we have seen a slight decrease in quality
The restaurant has always served excellent food, but the new owner is taking it even further. One of our party wisely decided to order the soup, and no main course, as the soup was an entire turrinne of delicious broth with cabbage, white beans, carrots, and loads of duck meat. The other two of us had the St Pierre, a delicate white fish with buerre blanc and butter marvelous. The coup de grace was the chocolate mousse with Armagnac bliss. Service is excellent, and the owner stopped by each table to be sure everything was perfect.
