Bidra med feedbackMy partner and I had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Cento 22! The food was delicious. We tried the zucchini flowers, porcini risotto, and seafood spaghetti. For dessert, we had the panna cotta, which was also excellent. The service was exceptional as well. We highly recommend Cento 22! Excellent experience!
Our second visit to Cento 22 was just as impressive as the first, and we will definitely be returning again. As soon as you step inside, you can tell that the staff are truly passionate about food. What sets this place apart is the warm and personal service. Chris and Libby, the owners, make you feel like you are dining in their own home. They are dedicated to sharing their love for Italian cuisine in an authentic and approachable way. Tonight, we tried the Willoughby Living special, which included a delicious antipasto board with roasted eggplant, Italian meats, and focaccia. Our main courses of pappardelle bolognese and Casarecce Sicilian Pasta were both incredibly tasty. Paired with a fantastic 2013 Chianti, our meal was simply outstanding. Our only regret was having to leave early to relieve our babysitters. Cento 22 focuses on using fresh, seasonal ingredients, offering a great selection of wines, and providing exceptional personal service. If you appreciate real, simple, and delicious Italian food, make sure to make a reservation at Cento 22. You won't be disappointed.
With up market prices, you expect up market meals and Cento 22 delivered. Nice ambiance, reasonable wines, all Mains were full of flavour and well enjoyed by our party of 6. The portions were reasonable for rich food for adults but not big quite enough for an older teen-ager. They took a special request of a tiramisu cake for a birthday for the desserts. We all agreed one of the best tiramisu ever. Owners and staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We will definately be back.
Great food; refined Italian , elegantly presented and executed. Every dish from Entree to Main dishes to desserts , all simply delicious! Service is attentive and the Owners Chris n Libby are both lovely n welcoming. Well done guys!
I have been a regular at this restaurant when it was known as 'Casa Mia Casa Tua'. The chef is talented and the food has always been excellent. The new owners are also nice, and I hope they can keep this place running for a long time. The salads are fresh and the pastas are great. I have not tried the main dishes, so I can't comment on those. However, my only complaint is the high corkage pricing. At $8 per person, it is unreasonable and defeats the purpose of bringing your own wine. On a Thursday night, we ended up paying an extra $32 for corkage on the bottles we brought. While I understand the need for the restaurant to make a profit and cover cleaning costs, the corkage pricing should be reconsidered as it is the highest I have ever seen. For a casual weekday dinner, $8 per person corkage is not justifiable for us, and we likely won't be returning solely because of that reason.
