Friggitoria Porto Vecchio - Castro

The service is Wonderfull and the fish is very good, the waiters are very friendly. I recommend the place to a group of friends or a family.

Excellent, small self-service restaurant specializing in fried fish and seafood with very good, very eclectic music and a great view of the port of Castro. The location is fantastic and the number of tables, all of them outdoors, is limited so it has a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The frittura (fried fish and seafood) is perfect — crisp, light and incredibly fresh— I think the best I’ve ever eaten ! The owners are very sociable and easy going and have now opened a second, more upscale, but equally delicious restaurant, the Baronale Museum Café in Vaste, about 6 kilometers from Castro. Not to be missed!

We went here only because we had walked to the marina to check out boats. What a great find! We shared an order of deep fried breaded shrimp and another of breaded deep fried veggies, washing it down with bottled beer. Both orders were delicious in the way that only happens when the food is very fresh and it is done served quickly. Loved our fair-value, casual meal here and the million dollar view!

I don't know how it was, I found it closed despite being indicated online.

Excellent frying with competitive prices, super friendly staff! I recommend it.
