Bidra med feedbackWe ordered food to go for a party and everything was perfect! Veggie chow mien, beef with broccoli and orange chicken were all a hit. Call and ask for Simon and he will take care of you!
Sizzling rice soup took me to heaven. Incredible service and the most delicious Chinese food in CV. Love this place.
This place was recommended to us by our AirBNB owner Erik. I suffer from celiac's so findind food I can eat on our travels is difficult. Our server Simon was extremely helpful with my dietary issue's. I felt safe enough to ask him to make me a Chicken stir fry with a few suggestions from me. He ordered me GF ginger chicken and GF Chicken Fried Rice. I have to say it was amongst the best low sodium meal I have ever had. The flavor was so much better then soy sauce based meals. I recommended this place if you have any dietary issues and ask for Simon. I want to stop here again before we leave town.
Good Chinese food at reasonable prices. Our group of 6 had dinner, with appetizers for under $200.
Eventually, I ordered a bowl of wonton soup and veggie potstickers. I expected them to arrive around the same time, but that didn’t happen. The soup came first, followed by the potstickers about 25 minutes later. While I understand potstickers can take longer, waiting 25 minutes is excessive. I ended up eating the soup first and then waiting for the potstickers, which was not my intention. The soup was decent, but it only contained about six wontons and few vegetables. It was tasty, but it definitely lacked substance. The potstickers, which came out late, were nearly tasteless, so I added some hot chili paste to spice them up, along with the extremely sweet soy sauce that was provided. Overall, the food tasted just okay, and even though the prices are reasonable, the service was terrible, which is why I gave this place one star. The waitress was polite and apologetic, but clearly, she needed more help. It was confusing that she was managing around 20 tables on a Saturday evening, especially since most were vacant. If you’re not in a hurry, this place is acceptable. I recommend skipping the veggie potstickers and opting for the pork ones instead. If you're going for soup, choose the wor wonton soup over the standard wonton soup—someone at another table had the wor wonton soup, and it looked more plentiful for just an extra two bucks. I might give this restaurant another chance to see if the service improves, but there are plenty of excellent Chinese restaurants in the area that provide much better service. I also noticed a lot of takeout customers were questioning their bills, which was a bit concerning. **Update**: I returned a few months later for a midweek dinner. The service was slightly better since it was a Wednesday and only two other patrons were present, so I increased my rating by one star. This time, I ordered the wor wonton soup ($11.50), and it was loaded with more ingredients compared to the regular wonton soup from my previous visit—definitely worth the extra two bucks. I also ordered the spring rolls ($6.50), which were delicious; there were four of them. I requested some of their hot chili paste, and it had improved since my last visit, offering a nice spicy and semi-sweet finish that complemented the spring rolls and the proteins in the wor wonton soup perfectly. The spring rolls came with a small dish of sweet and sour sauce, which I passed on since I don't mix sweet with savory. Overall, my experience this time was significantly better than my first visit.
