Bidra med feedbackSide Gumbo was ok, but the rice was slightly undercooked. How were the Soft Shell Po'Boy was awful. The crab tasted off and the coleslaw wasn't good. The bread and the remoulade were the only part that was edible. Brussel Sprouts was were decent.
Catfish and Cajun fries were excellent. Bread pudding was meh. They didn't provide utensils, was staying in a hotel when ordered.
Good selection of southern favorites with a fairly authentic taste. Many times have been in New Orleans and have tried to have all their well-known “best place for...” IMO, the flavors are right, that does not mean that they are big or that they fit into Bay Area pallets. We ordered a few different dishes and they were all pretty good. Spicy, salty and a little embarrassing. I wasn't crazy about the soft bowl crab, especially since the gills and stuff, where rides with the crab and not removed before. I found the beans overwhelmed with the amount of salt and pepper. Overall, a decent experience where there were takeout or limited seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. I'd go back if I confess to the southern food. The prices are decent and food is pretty good. As with many places during Covid, the service is limited and waiting times can be long, even for takeover orders. With the table right at the front window, you can also see the cooks make all dishes, the children got a kick out.
This place is great, there was nothing we tried that we didn't like it. I had the Peace Chicken Sandwich and it was great, the in-law was very good on it. The Cajun Fries were also a clear standout. Great.
Amazing South Life. I tried her crabs that cheat the chicken, the southern chicken sandwich and the crust fish. The highlight for me were the crabs and the chicken. The spicy, crispy and freshness was all perfect. I'll try again to make other articles safe.
