Fast service, average eating and not the best atmosphere the restaurant is located near a very busy road with motorcycles and people past all the time. Based on the recommended we received from our catania guided, I have expected more. the mixed...Salad was disappointing, the homemade pasta was ok, but nothing special. good house wine.

Super local trattoria. Does not look good, it is not a fancy place. But the food is amazing. Owner is cooking great pasta A la norma (best I had in 3 weeks travelling in Sicily) and fish.

Terrific value and delicious food by Rosanna, like your favourite aunty who is the best cook in the family. Lunch hours were longer too in case you get distracted with sight-seeing and need a late lunch (like I was). I would recommend the Capricce (sp?...pasta which is freshly made Alla Norma that is the local pasta with eggplant, stuffed sardine with pine nuts and sheep's cheese, and seafood pasta. The dessert of Zippolini was soooo good. We went back again after dinner to have lunch the next day.

Lovely staff and Fiora is a sweetheart. The waiters can be a bit clumsy but the food is so amazing that nobody is going to care about that. If u are going to catania then u have to eat this. Looks can be deceiving btw,...the restaurant itself looks low quality but the food makes up for everything.
