Salsas - Cathedral City

We had a fantastic experience during our vacation at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, and our waitress Abby provided exceptional service with her warm friendliness.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the low desert! The food is consistently excellent, and the menu offers a great variety. The service is even more impressive—always friendly, helpful, and quick. It's a family-run business that truly operates with love.

The food itself was decent. I ordered the fajitas, which were a bit different from what I'm used to in New York, but I enjoyed the unique sauce they came with. For my six-year-old daughter, we ordered a bean and cheese burrito along with rice and beans. However, I was surprised to see the charge: $13 for the burrito, $3.50 for rice, and an additional $3.50 for beans. They don't seem to consider families, as there's no kids' meal option, and most other places charge $7 or less for children's meals. Overall, we found the prices to be quite steep; the menu listed my fajitas at $28, but they charged me $24. Our total bill came to $80 for three meals and one alcoholic drink. While the food was pretty good, it felt overpriced, especially since our waitress removed our dishes without checking if we were finished. Because of the prices and the service experience, I don’t think we would return.
