Osteria Di Montegonzi - CAVRIGLIA

We were married in a villa near and decided to have our meal here in the night before the big day with our whole family. there were about 30 of us, so the whole upper terrace. we were blown away from the prospect of the Tuscan hills. it was really a breath. all 30 people arrive at the same time, I knew it would be manic, but the personal did really good. there was only one man who could speak English and he did so well to take all our commands. eating was just delicious. the cocktails were also beautiful. we all really enjoyed the night and were so nice of them to have us all at once. we hoped for a few days later on the terrace that we had breakfast and coffee....atmlich we have there and they did not open the terrace until the evening: we had an espresso in the café shop below, which is all part of the restaurant.

The hubby I really enjoyed this place. we shared an appetizer (antipasto dell’osteria I thought was the name) and had two main courses. both pappardelle with ragu’di cinghiale and peposo were delicious. are large and eating is delicious. personal is very friendly and. that is beautiful. will definitely be back for fiorentina!

Il cibo è davvero eccezionale...la terrazza è meravigliosa e il servizio è impeccabile, con spiegazioni dettagliate sui piatti e sull'origine degli ingredienti...compreso il vino...davvero complimenti!

Il ristorante è molto bello e il personale è davvero cordiale e gentile. Tuttavia, devo dire che i piatti non sono all'altezza. Trovo che siano molto turistici e non coerenti con il prezzo richiesto. Per pagare 20€ per un primo piatto, mi aspetto di più.

We visited as family of 8 for our last night in the toskana and arranged to reserve a table. When we arrived, it turned out that we couldn't all sit together, because they weren't in a position to move the tables because they were stone. we. had a table for 2 and then 6 people on the other table, which was a scandal when it was our only family meal for the holiday. the waiters were friendly and the sohn spoke English so that was great and facilitated order. a few people had appetizers and the rest of us just ordered something. their appetizers took about 40 minutes to get out and until they finished their appetizers, we got our main courses. the rest of us ate and at the time when we were finished, the men who had eaten the first meal had not arrived yet! about 20 minutes later it arrived. eating was excellent and very tasty, but the timings really let it. they have a series of pastas and meat and each member of our family enjoyed their food. I understand that they are a family business, so the number of employees is limited, but if they are not able to get food at the same time, then maybe they shouldn't take so many bookings? we also heard other people complain about waiting times, so it is clear that this is a problem. If they are not in a hurry and don't mind waiting for her to eat, then I would recommend it because that is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.
