Bidra med feedbackAh! I used to think Mang Inasal was unbeatable, but I have to say, this place has changed my mind. The ambiance could use some improvement and it needs to be more well-known among the locals in Cebu. However, the chicken inasal here is among the best barbecued chicken I've ever had. It's tender, flavorful, juicy, and fresh. Don't miss out on this!
The juices were rich and flavorful. We were craving Bacolod-style chicken after our visit to Bacolod last month. A friend recommended this place, and I found it to have a better ambiance and more space compared to the ones at Sykes.
Honestly, better chicken than Mang Inasal. But the service is a little slow. Garlic is not the main dish, but highly recommended for everyone.
The portion of their best seller chicken: Pecho-Pak was indeed MEATY. Definitely good combination with the soy sauce, vinegar and chicken oil as usual. However, I expected more of the skin portion that would give you more of the grilled flavors. Quite affordable though.
A key point to note: rice is NOT included with your meal, so you'll need to purchase it separately, and there are no combo meals available. The drink options are limited to bottled water, soft drinks, and juices—no pitchers available. On the positive side, I did enjoy the flavor of their chicken, and the petcho was savory. The beef in the kansi was tender, indicating it was cooked well. However, the customer service left much to be desired. The lady who served us also acted as the cashier, and she could benefit from more training; her demeanor was lackluster and not very welcoming. Overall, it was an average dining experience that could have been much better with friendlier service. The prices felt a bit high for what you receive, and there are certainly better dining options available. Personally, I’d recommend going to Mang Inasal instead.
