Loved the variety of pillows as we always love our own. We didn't have all the amenities, but next time. Jocelyn was the greatest. Extra friendly and made a person very welcome. Next time thru Cedar City we will stay this hotel.
The staff at reception were so helpful and cheery! We requested bike storage during our stay and the office staff were able to happily accommodate. The room was as described on the website and was a good value. Breakfast was stellar! A breakfast room in a separate building next to the inn offered ample hot, fresh and delicious choices. We would stay at the Abbey Inn again.
Accolades for the Abbey Inn. It may not be a fully enclosed complex, but the Abbey Inn has done basically everything right with what they've got, and it's clear that they care and are continuing to maintain and improve. The room itself was clean and nice: granite counter tops, hot water, mini fridge... really nothing to complain about. Then there are the amenities: an indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, even an electric car charging station. The breakfast itself was as good as any I've had at other hotels, and really goes to show that even as a lower cost option, the Abbey Inn cares to make a pleasant experience. If you don't mind stepping out in the cold air once and a while, it's hard not to recommend.
This might be the friendliest customer service we've ever experienced in a hotel. We arrived at 10:00 pm and the front desk called me to make sure we were coming. I walked into the lobby and my first thought was how beautiful it is. They are currently renovating an older hotel and they are doing an excellent job. The room was lovely. The beds were comfy, and I'm really picky about beds. They give you more pillows than the average hotel and they are really high quality. Right when we got to the room the hotel actually texted me saying if I had any questions I could just text that number. They put a ring light full sized mirror in the bathroom which is a really nice touch. There was a really big nice TV and I know they at least had cable channels. The breakfast was abundant! They had basically everything you can think of for breakfast. eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and toppings, yogurt, cereal, pancakes and waffles, and bagels. Everything we tried tasted great. We chose to stay in Cedar because St. George is a million dollars on Friday nights, and we were headed to Northern Utah. I'm glad we saved the money and stayed in a hotel that, obviously, cares about their guests. We would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend.
I was stranded in Cedar City with a broken down car, just looking for somewhere to sleep. What a nice surprise this place was. Great, clean, fully equipped rooms at a reasonable price. The two people I interacted with at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. And the free breakfast is better than most.
