Bidra med feedbackIf you care about safety in a time of COVID, this is not the place. Maskless wait staff and kitchen staff. Unacceptable during these times. We did end up eating here because we were THAT hungry. It was a risk. The food was just ok. Would not return.
Unfortunately I have nothing to say about food at this place as I did not get to try it. I am 37 and this is the first time I a writing a negative review about anything in my entire life so this was quite an experience. My family and I were spending lovely few days in New Hampshire and decided to check this place out for lunch on 10/9. The place was quite empty with the exception of two parties. We asked if we could sit outside to which the waitress pretty much barked in response that she is not servicing anyone outside. I asked if we could maybe sit inside to which she quickly pointed to a table in the middle of the restaurant and walked away. We were with two small children and I typically try to get a table out of everyone 's way. When I finally got a chance to ask if we could get another table (and yes the waitress saw that we were idling waiting for something but ignored us , I received a very short no . We had nothing to do but to walk away. Overall experience: no greeting, no smile, no interest in hearing us, just a smirk and an overall horrible attitude. Nothing in how we behaved or presented ourselves warranted this.
I don't know why people complain about the quality of food. We're in central NH, in New England, in the USA. Of course it's not going to be the level of cuisine you find in Mykonos. That being said, we are huge greek food fans, and the food was great! We were on a random road trip and stopped to have lunch here. The owner/chef was personable, explained his beliefs on cooking, etc. and how he makes everything. The baklava was AMAZING. He said he doesn't use corn syrup like most people do and you can tell. It was so good we ate dessert there and got one to go. For the area, where we live, the entire experience was great. I wish the waitress had a mask on, but she stayed quite a ways away from our table so it is what it is. You do have to view the menu outside and on your phone but that's no big deal helps them from having to spend a lot of time sanitizing plastic menus constantly.
Because of Covid 19 you have to read the menu in the front window. Then you decide on your selection, go inside and place your order and pay. We sat outside and waited for a while for our food. I had a chicken gyro which was ok. My wife had the scallops and fried haddock. She ate it but wasn’t really impressed. Our waitress was attentive and the prices were reasonable.
So in the middle of a pandemic, they post their menu outside so you have to decide what you want before you sit down. But servers don't keep masks on. They don't wear gloves, and their service sucks. We ordered water and beverages. We didn.t want straws or lemon in our water. My hsbands water came with fruit he didn't want. The red wi e was below bottom shelf. We ordered grape leaves as an appetizer. I asked how many pieces a d she wasn't sure. (Ther
