Bidra med feedbackI was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered rice noodles with chicken and vegetables, as well as glass noodles with pork and shrimp. The quality of the ingredients was poor, the meat was dry and lacking in flavor, and the sauce tasted like hoisin and soy sauce with no hint of curry. I found the prices to be too high for such low quality food. There is definitely room for improvement. Good luck to the restaurant in the future.
This is by far the best banh mi I have ever had, and I've had many! My favorite is the grilled pork, spicy. I also tried a few noodle dishes which were delicious. The portions are large, tasty, and very satisfying; I was able to save half for a small lunch the next day. Jimmy, the chef, is incredibly friendly and polite. The ingredients are of high quality. The owner and chef are both very welcoming. The prices are reasonable. I won't be dining anywhere else from now on.
I believe this could be the best dining experience in Austin, and the best I've had since my days in NYC. This place took me a few minutes to find, as it's quite hidden - nestled between a karate studio and a deli. I almost missed it while driving past. However, the distinctive foldable menu caught my eye and confirmed that I had found the right spot. Now, onto the important stuff - I ordered the black bell pork banh mi and it was absolutely delicious. The portion of pork belly was massive, true to Texas size. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the jalapeños, greens, and carrots were crispy. The pork was tender, and although I asked for a 9/10 spiciness level, the owner gave me the spicy sauce on the side. I appreciated the honesty, but ended up pouring most of it on because it was flavorful, hot, and oily in the best way possible. I will definitely return to try the owner's recommended grilled pork banh mi, as she claims it's the best. They also offer a variety of noodle dishes, appetizers, and Vietnamese coffee.
Best sandwich I had long time. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
The pork shoulder is amazing. The pork belly is also very good. Veggie egg rolls were some of the best egg rolls I've ever had. Highly recommend this semi hidden gem in Cedar Park.
