Bidra med feedbackWe stopped in and purchased a Napoleon and Chocolate Croissant. The Napoleon was good, not great, but the Chocolate Croissant was wonderful. If you go, you may want to try some of the other pastries they offer.
When this bakery first opened the ham and cheese croissants were incredible! I had to stop myself from going everyday, they were the best I've ever had!! But sadly they have slowly gone down in quality. I'm not sure if it's related but their name changed and they got a lot of new equipment. I believe their items were all made in a different location and brought in early in the morning before opening. Maybe the difference is the person making them? I don't know but they went from the best I've ever had to not as good as Starbucks. Their other items are good, but nothing outstanding for me like the original ham and cheese croissants.
Upon entering, the first thing that catches your eye is the display case, which is truly enticing. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t carry through to the food. During my visit, I ordered two items, and both were disappointing. My wife and I took a few bites but ended up leaving most of it uneaten. Just to be sure I'd made the right choices, I returned two days later, but the experience was unfortunately the same. I tried a large, decadent cookie packed with gooey goodness, walnuts, and cranberries, but it was hard and stale—who knows how many days old? Overall, I cannot recommend this place.
The bakery has some attractive items, but the strong smell of cleaning agents is overwhelming. It's so bad that I find myself unable to breathe through my nose while I'm there. The food I've tried has been quite bland and tasteless. This past weekend, I had an apple turnover, and it tasted just like the harsh cleaning products—they really made it unpleasant. How can a bakery not smell like one? I recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to be disappointed. It doesn't feel like a bakery in the true sense. I will never return.
This location has been home to lots of different businesses, so I'm glad to see one that seems to be here to stay! The family that runs it is very kind, and they always offer helpful suggestions when I can't decide on what new things to try. Usually everything is on point, even though today was an unfortunate exception. I picked the raspberry cheesecake and iced chai latte, which was actually a little bit of a letdown. The raspberry coating on the top had dried and hardened, which made it very chewy and difficult to cut through. I ended up having to leave it and settle for the plain cheesecake. The chai latte was also over-saturated with the spiced syrup, and I didn't end up drinking second half because it gave my throat an unpleasant sensation. Since I paid $12 for both, I wish it had been a more positive experience. They don't have any indoor seating for customers, but there is a single table right outside. It's not a place that's meant for large groups, though they have plenty of baked goods that can be taken to-go. Another perk is that every staff member I interacted with was bilingual, which is really important in our area. If you love sweets and baked snacks, this is a great pit stop!
