Batters Fish and Chips

You may have to wait a little for your order, but it is well worth the wait. The shark in particular is excellent.

Batter soggy, fish overcooked, place grotty with month old newspapers. Nothing to recommend here beyond the friendly service.

We as a family decided to stop over for a quick lunch and was delighted with the freshness of the fish n chips and also the battered squid. It's was so yummy and moist. The only concern I have is the price of all the items which is a little pricey for us that's on a budget.

Looked busy so we thought it must be good. Sadly we were mistaken. Took AGES for our order, fish was dry and tasteless. Crumbed prawns over cooked, squid rings soggy. Floor was filthy. Staff were disinterested and had no sense of urgency despite a shop full of customers. One poor bloke had his order sit on the counter for a good 15 minutes because they missed some of his order. No apology, didn't even put it on the warmers or offer to remake. Won't be back.

Good, but not great fish and chips. The customers were entertaining though. With a little more effort this place could be great.
