In the morning, when you're craving donuts, Sensational Sweets is the go-to spot. They open at around 5:00 AM, and I've noticed that my favorite bear claws and apple fritters are often sold out by 7:00. If you live in Eagle Point, you're likely familiar with this place. The staff is always busy preparing fresh batches of donuts. They also offer custom cakes if that's what you need. Personally, I haven't tried the deli items because I mainly visit for the fresh donuts.
Delicious donuts! We were delighted to walk into this establishment and be welcomed by friendly smiles. We sampled a variety of baked goods that ranged from fantastic (the donuts and macaroons) to just okay (the cannoli). However, that's probably on us since we prefer less sweet treats. It was definitely worth the hour-long drive to visit!
What makes this restaurant truly special is the freshness of its food. They don’t have many day-old items, so nearly everything you order has been prepared within the last 24 hours. Their donuts and fritters are fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely appreciates their regular customers. Whenever we host a gathering or events like the bi-annual yard sales, we always make sure to grab a variety of treats for everyone. Without fail, people remark, "I bet this came from Sensational Sweets!"
