Always a very welcome greeting, and food is excellent and you take your own drink as they don't have a licence, but you can get Coke etc: staff are excellent too. The Food is great and they do takeaway.

Came here for a date with my boyfriend. It was my first time but my boyfriend has been here several times. They provide free popadoms and a selection of dips and sauces with them which was delicious! Our mains came out and it was the best Indian I have had. Never been a big fan of Indian food as had bad experience with takeaway places in Bedford. But montys is great just disappointing that it isn't bigger as I was sat right next to the loo Would definitely recommend this lovely place. Keep pestering my boyfriend to take me again

I ordered a takeaway from here. A chicken tikka biriani. When i got home to eat it, it had a slighly strange taste, but having eaten many curries, and knowing that each restaurant can have slighly different combinations of spices or sauces, I intially put the taste down to that. I ate about a third but it still didn't taste quite right. How i wished i had stopped after the first mouthful. After about two hours I had terrible stomach cramps, and just about made it to the loo in time! I was stuck there for a good hour, as everything flushed out... I thought back throughout the day, to see if there could have been some other cause of my illness, but there was no other possibility. Maybe it was a one-off, but looking at some of the other reviews, I'm not so sure. Sooo.... try at your own risk... or avoid!

Was very pleasantly surprised by this gem of an Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in the village of Cranfield. Walked past many times since I moved here, but ate there last night for the first time. The manager was friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean. I'm a vegetarian, and there was a varied selection of dishes to choose from. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. One of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten in. They also do take away.
