Bidra med feedbackThere are 2 restaurants is Winlaw and this is the one I would recommend if you have a sensitive gut. Their ingredients seem fresh, their sauces housemade and I had no trouble digesting their food (breakfast sandwich and blueberry muffin). I was tickled pink that they offered fresh grapefruit juice!! So good for digestion. The atmosphere is super pleasant. Service was really good although not speedy (understandably so - as you may know some refer to this valley as the "slow as you can valley"). Glad to have discovered this little gem in the Slocan Valley. I look forward to eating their food again next summer.
In the slocan valley there are not many restaurants, but some are hidden gems. Sleep is for sissies has a rustic, large, light and airy main room, a good choice in their menu and friendly staff. the ambiente was a pleasant surprise, and the food was good. there is also a local beer that I found very pleasant.
Eat good quality. their packings are excellent. beautiful atmosphere and clean. a bit expensive but worth it.
We were pleasantly surprised to come over this little gem of a restaurant that gave the remote location on the highway 6. the inhabitants of the region have happy to have it. I found the name komical sleep is for sissies der atmophere reminds them to be in a...mineral tent, just a bit glammed.
This is one of the only places I can eat in the valley, due to its healthier options. It has delicious rice bowls that use fresh and healthy vegetables and the paleo twix bars, that I’d really call a paleo caramel slice (any Aussies or...Kiwis will know the deliciousness I speak of), are going to make me go back for more.
